Maddie and Samson got married on a sunny, breezy day in May at Silverwood Park.
It was one of those weddings where everything seemed to go exactly as planned. The schedule stayed on track, everyone was calm, and the weather couldn't have been better.
But there was one small hiccup.
As Maddie and Samson prepared to exchange rings, they realized they didn’t have them—and neither did anyone else. The realization spread through the crowd and sparked laughter from both the guests and the couple. As someone searched, without luck, for the rings, a married couple sitting near the front offered their wedding bands as place holders and the ceremony continued.
Not long after walking back down the aisle as husband and wife, Maddie and Samson found their actual wedding bands and exchanged them in a quiet moment together.
Perhaps not having your wedding bands at the alter is less than ideal, but there is no doubt it makes for a good story and shared memory with family and friends.
Congrats to this lovely duo!
