Katie and Eddie are truly a breath of fresh air. After first meeting them a few years ago at another wedding, I was thrilled when they reached out to have me document their own day. With Eddie in grad school at the University of Minnesota, it felt especially meaningful to celebrate at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
As the seasons shifted and the air turned crisp, it was the perfect afternoon for an outdoor ceremony. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they exchanged vows with a blessing of the rings and laying of hands. The celebration continued with a relaxed brunch catered by Chowgirls, heartfelt speeches, and at the very end a surprise: a personal remix of Alexander Hamilton, performed by a dear friend who beautifully wove in the story of how Katie and Eddie met. What an honor to document this special day!
